Eversholt Rail Group scopes out re-traction upgrades

Eversholt Rail Group and Vossloh Kiepe UKEversholt Rail Group has begun looking at a traction system upgrade for its fleet of Class 321 and 322 electrical multiple units and has awarded the contract for a feasibility study to Birmingham-based Vossloh Kiepe UK.

Formerly Transys Projects, Vossloh Kiepe UK will be combining the installation experience of its Birmingham-based staff with the traction expertise from colleagues in Dusseldorf, to complete the feasibility study by March 2013. Continue reading

Transys Projects Limited is changing its name to Vossloh Kiepe UK Limited, further strengthening the brand’s position in the UK rail market.

The company, which was acquired by Vossloh Kiepe GmbH in June, will begin trading under the new name on 1 October 2012. Vossloh Kiepe UK will offer a broad range of engineering expertise, encompassing its existing UK services as well as new capabilities brought in from the Vossloh Kiepe Group. Continue reading
