I am a relative new comer to Vossloh Kiepe UK having only joined the business in August 2015. I am however far from new to the railway industry. I began my professional career as an engineering apprentice several years ago and, over time, have been fortunate enough to work for a variety of companies & hold positions such Production and Development Manager, Technical Services Director, Production Director as well as more latterly the role of Operations and Procurement Director. My passion however has always been in rail so when I saw the opportunity to join Vossloh Kiepe as their Operations Manager, I jumped at it. I wanted to join Vossloh Kiepe because it has an excellent reputation in the market and offers its employees a diverse and wide variety of challenging work. The business also has solid plans in place to grow profitably which is an exciting prospect in itself and something I really want to be a part of.
I love the challenge of helping to grow the business. Each day is so different here at Vossloh Kiepe UK – you are never bored which makes your time at the workplace exceptionally enjoyable.
In addition to the variety of work on offer the people here at Vossloh Kiepe UK are so friendly and supportive, it’s great. We also do a lot of work as a business to support local and national charities and I am very proud to say that I am chairperson of a very active Social Committee.
I have worked for some of the biggest companies in the world and I am very proud to have done so, however the feel and culture of Vossloh Kiepe UK is unique and makes it a wonderful company. As an employee you can make a genuine and direct contribution to the success and growth of the business here every day. In all the years I have worked in the rail industry that is something I have never felt before.
