Kiepe Electric UK has train systems engineers with skills and expertise in the following areas: Project Management, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Design, Electrical\Mechanical Installation, Quality Assurance and IT. Our train systems engineers are backed up by a highly experienced management team:


Tim Jenkins – Managing Director

Tim Started career as an apprentice for a die casting company and first job was as a casting Inspector, over the next 25 years worked upto the level of European VP for an Automotive tier 1 supplier, with this was lucky enough to see dramatic change in the supply base with great emphasis on Lean culture. Joined the rail industry in 2006 and for the next 5 years led the UK Heavy Maintenance and CRO business units for Bombardier Transportation. Finally, before joining Vossloh Kiepe UK Ltd spent 5 years in Sweden leading the Nordic region for Bombardier Transportation Services.


Lee Watkins – Finance Director

 Lee qualified as an accountant over 20 years ago and has had experience in engineering / manufacturing throughout his career. Lee spent that last 11 years reporting directly to the MD of the UK arm of an Irish based project management business which included the design, engineering and construction of multi million pound building / process projects for some of the biggest food and pharmaceutical companies in the UK and Europe. Through that time the business grew organically by almost 10 fold and became a significant part of the group. Lee joins the rail industry for the first time in his career and brings his good experience of engineering and project management companies to the business.


Philip Comelio MSc, CEng, MIMechE – Engineering Director 

Experienced Director having worked with Transys Projects then Vossloh Kiepe UK since the early 1990s. Having experience in both Engineering and Project Management roles.







Jenny Turner – HR Business Partner

Jenny is responsible for the development and delivery of the VKB people strategy and has been working with the business since September 2014. Jenny has over 20 years’ experience of working in HR at both HR Director and Business Partner level.  Having worked for Ford Motor Company, Severn Trent Water, Forte Hotels, Carillion & Zurich Financial Services it is unsurprising that exposure to such divergent sectors as manufacturing, leisure, construction, financial services as well as utilities has equipped her, not only with very broad business acumen, but with the ability to talk in an informed & educated manner about all matters HR. Rrecruitment, development, retention, restructuring, employee relations, culture change, developing leaders, managing performance, maximizing potential, along with acting as both a coach and mentor – all fall within Jenny’s experience portfolio and compendium of working with senior leadership teams to develop solutions to a wide range of strategic issues.
